  • Disappointing

I need to be able to print more than 25 pages at one time and this printer was suppose to do just that. It stalls and wastes paper instead! I print hand outs for my university courses and it will print half the slides and then it stops stating it can't print anymore. Very frustrating when trying to get organised for the following day. Plus not to mention wasting my printing paper and time. I end up having to print at the uni library before class.

  • Wireless printing fails and no help available

I appears to be a great printer and works perfectly when connected to one computer with USB. However wireless printing won't print more than one complete page. It stalls on the second side of double sided printing or the second page of multiple copies. I put a request on the support forum more than a week ago but have had no reply and cannot find any way to get in touch with HP to solve this problem. I wanted this printer to be available to all computers on the network but it won't complete printing from any of them. Very disappointed.

  • great little all rounder

I have had my Envy 4500 since June 14 and I have to say it's been a decent printer for the price I paid, I can scan straight to my PC without the need for software, it copies easily with the option of a black&white/colour print and the wireless side of it was so easy especially with the WPS so just had to hit the 'WPS' button on my sky broadband router and away I went. when I am at work and need something printed off but don't want to carry things home I just email it to my printer at home and it's printed out for when I am in and find this feature a god send along with the Instant Inks - I love using the Instant ink and find I am saving a small fortune on inks, the printer just sends HP an email when my inks are low and I have new inks at my door within a few days ready to change over. a great all rounder printer at a fantastic price with some of the features you will find on a higher end model. The screen in Monochrome but to be honest for the price you can't expect too much and I am not fussed as it just means the screen is easier to read and it gives me all the info I need such as ink levels e.t.c

  • Good Simple Printer

Easy set up. Needed to download drivers for Iphone but again - simple to do. Ink cartridges are less expensive than many of the HP cartridges and have a good page print life span. Good wi-fi signal, fairly quick print times and a good size footprint on my desk.
